Our live online class Breastfeeding – A Positive Start aims to give you, as an expectant parent, the knowledge and confidence you need for a positive start to breastfeeding.

The class was previously called Breastfeeding Class.

Breastfeeding is often a learning process, and we will guide you through the essentials to help you feel prepared and supported.

Our skilled lactation midwife will give you increased knowledge about:
-Lactation physiology
-Ways to enhance milk production
-Signs of the rooting reflex
-Getting a good latch
-Feeding on baby’s signals – ”baby led feeding”
-Colostrum

The class also covers common breastfeeding challenges and provides practical advice on how to manage them. We recommend attending from week 25 of pregnancy.

All information is based on our in-depth knowledge and the latest research about breastfeeding.

There is always room for your questions during the course.

Information

The class is 1,5 hours in total and held at 17.30-19.00.
A Zoom link will be sent out (to the email you enrolled with) 24 hours prior to class and a reminder 1 hour before.
